Lowrider Tumblers 2.0 - Amethyst - Set of 2
When you’re reaching for the perfect glass of whiskey, wine, any small cocktail, or water, you’ll always grab the Lowrider Tumbler first.
HOW DOES IT LOOK?
Round shape, durable, tiny bubbles suspended in the glass and a subtle ripple pattern which refracts the light. If you have the original Lowrider (2019-2021), please keep in mind these are a different shape/size so will not be an exact match (though will be a beautiful complement).
HOW DOES IT FEEL?
Weighted slightly in the base with a soft round bottom that fits comfortably in the hand. The smaller diameter and ripple pattern creates a subtle texture for improved grip.
HOW CAN I USE IT?
The durable go-to glass for everyday use. Versatile and perfect for cocktails, water, and wine. For cocktails, there is room for ice in the drink and the shape is suitable for a variety of garnish options. Complements the Lowrider Cocktail Pitcher nicely.
Each tumbler measures approximately 3.25″ high by 3.25″ wide.
*Set of 2 tumblers.
**Small Cocktail Mixing Pitcher is sold separately.
Infinite Glassworks was founded by glassblowers Kate and Matthew Civiero in 2005 to showcase both individual and collaborative approaches to glassmaking.
Kate is a graduate of the Glass Program at the Sheridan College School of Craft and Design. She has exhibited her work in galleries in Canada and the USA and is involved in several art collectives. Her glasswork can be found in private collections both nationally and internationally.
Uniting design and function, Kate combines vibrant colours and fluid shapes in her signature handblown glassware.
As a glassblower and a metalsmith, Kate is a designer and maker of handmade objects. and believes in giving objects significance through deliberate design and thoughtful creation. Motived by material curiosity, she combines contrasting mediums to inform texture, pattern, colour and structure.
With a balance between careful consideration and impulsive explorations, Kate gives a voice to her craft through the language of her materials.
Each piece is designed and created at Infinite Glassworks. Slight variances in size/shape/colour can occur. The glassblowing furnace and the type of glass used creates small bubbles within all pieces. These are not considered flaws, as they exemplify the handmade and individual nature of the material. Prior to shipping, each piece is carefully inspected to make sure it is free from defects.
Please review our return policy on handcrafted items before placing your order.
Approximate Dimensions: 3.25″ high by 3.25″ wide
Approximate Volume: 225 ml
Material: Handblown glass
Care: Handblown glass is sensitive to extreme temperatures. For this reason, never place your handblown glass in an oven, microwave or freezer, or fill with boiling liquids. However, cold drinks are particularly delicious in handblown glass, and rest assured that the use of ice cubes will not damage the glass. Glass can be handwashed or washed in the top rack of a dishwasher using non-abrasive detergent. We recommend washing in soapy water and drying with a soft lint-free cloth, or using vinegar or Windex with a paper towel to keep the glass looking sparkling clean.
